The 1920s was a time of significant ethnic departures in the United States. The causes of these conflicts came with the massive cultural changes that were occurring in the States at the time, such as godliness, immigration, and prohibition. Prohibition started crime and corruption. The Klu Klux Klan started when immigration came to America, and religion started arguments about ontogenesis, which then lead to the scopes trial.
During the 1920s era, religion in America experienced a cultural revolution. In the roaring twenties, religion was big(p)ly affected by immigration, the more than the people, and the more the religion differences. Not everyone agreed on the equal beliefs. The establishment of mass cultural for the first time in the United States had an effect on religion also. By the air of the radio, tension was caused between rural and urban areas because of new ideas and set everyone had. Religion started with two origins: science and creation. Darwins theory of evolution came through the department of science, while the theory of creation came from the bible. This conflict between the two started the Scopes Trail. Held in Tennessee, the trial would try to let the teaching of evolution in schools.
