The catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield tries to take on many important self-aggrandising related tasks in the harbour The Catcher in the Rye. The 1 that was noticed and menti wizd many condemnations through step to the fore the story was how Holden was nerve-wracking to move himself out into the adult world.Holden has a hard time experiencing the adult world with alone in all of the problems he has had within his life. The book shows that Holden is trying to dissemble older than he really is to run into all of the different people he meets while in New York, but he still wants to act identical a young teen while trying to act as an adult. Holden trys spending nights in clubs he shouldnt be in thinking its going to line him seem more mature. Holden also starts trying to lose his virginity to all different prostitutes that are younger and older. A big contend why Holden thinks he needs to mature early is that he is insucure about himself.
First in the novel Holden was experiencing many problems in life. The problems in life included failing five classes in high school, and getting kick out because of him failing.
In the novel Holden Caulfield gets kicked out of four schools, one being Pencey Prep, because of him failing classes or disrespectful behavior towards teachers or students. Seeing Holden was kicked out of so many schools he ended up in a hospital in New York. Holden ended up seeming kind of insane in the middle of the novel. Holden was a critical insane because of the troubles he was going through. Most of the time all Holden would think about was his dead brother Allie Caulfield, and the suicide of one of his schoolmates. Allie was really important to Holden because they were close when Allie was alive. Allies death do Holden think of where Allie was and what happen to him. All of the thinking caused Holden to lose closeness on school work and other important things.
