Introduction

During the industrial Revolution mining was a very dangerous job because
the supply for ember grew substantially. This ca apply miners to browse long hard hours in the
mine to remove combust. char mining has often trapped men underground and do
hazardous health problems or even death.

Coal is a combustible sedimentary rock composed of carbon and
hydrocarbons. in that location are several types of sear: Lignite-This is a brownish bare coal
with high moisture and ash content. Known as immature coal that is soft. The
second type is sub-bituminous coal-a dull low coal with higher heating rate. The
Third is bituminous coal-most jet in U.S. accounting for over 50% of
demonstrated base. roughly commonly used for electricity. A dark, hard coal with a
higher heating value than any other. The last iodine is Anthracite also known as hard coal
formed by bituminous coal under increase pressure in rock strata. (Coal 1)

Coal is used as an energy source, either heat or electricity.



As used very
heavily to heat home, power locomotives, and factories. Bituminous coal is also
used to produce coke for making brace and other industrial process heating. Steel was a life-sized

Most of it is used to make steel. Miners initiative mine coal to be used in
steel mills. It was started due to the Industrial Revolution. Each person uses 3.8
tons of coal a year. In the old days many people mined coal from the age 16 and
up. Now the average miner has to be 45 and has to have had 20 years of
