So many things were going on in my life at this time-good and bad. In the summer of 2008, I was at a high. I had achieved one of my dreams of winning a accede championship. I did so with my club soccer team. It was one of the happiest old age of my life. So much hard work had finally stipendiary off. The season came to an end. It was fall and that only meant one thing, high school soccer. Going into the season I had lots of recognition from what I have achieved in the spring and summer with my club team. We were anticipate to win the sectional tittle that year for the first time in the schools history.

Things were looking good. I was feeling good. Things seem like they couldnt get any better. Thats when tragedy struck. A couple of games into the season, I sustained a serious injury, I had torn my anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in my knee. At first I didnt know or realize how serious the injury was. I thought I was just going to be sidelined for a couple of weeks or so. Boy was I wrong, dead wrong. It wasnt until the doctor explained to me the sourness of the injury. He let me know I was going to exigency surgery to repair the damaged ligament if I ever precious to step into a pitch again.
