1.Case study overview :
The educational design Bancile si sistemul bancar was introduced in 2007 by Citibank in partnership with Junior exercise. The curriculum has been implemented in 40 high schools from Bucharest, permitting over 1500 pupils to find forbidden more about the banking organisation and the services that banks offer on our market.

The Bancile si sistemul bancar project had a few main objectives, among which:
to inform the pupils about the way Romanian banks function
to explain them the differences surrounded by the investment banks and the commercial banks
to offer details about the banking instruments and services
to dissever the deposits and the attributes
to offer details about debit and credit cards
to explain the payment methods.
During a three months period, the optional classes from the high-schools that participated at this program were replaced with Bancile si sistemul bancar classes, which were held by economics teachers and 8 volunteers from Citybank, using as course a book printed at Junior Achievement.
