Religion is one of the approximately debated topics of American life and memorial. This Country is founded upon the predilection of freedom and faith. America was founded upon the idea that religion was the choice of the individual person and not a requirement of the government.
Public schools have became the center of debate for religion and the whens and wheres of how to observe someones faith. The most memorable case was Engel v Vitale which became the battle of school petition and the first of its kind in our legal system.

This prayer was to be voluntary, meaning that the student and the school did not have to recite it. The prayer states: shaper God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers, and our Country (Engle v Vitale, 1962).
