Womens roles in society were challenged by the fact that to a greater extent soldiers were needed to win the struggle and almost every on the job(p) men was sent to fight in the war, so women had to happen upon up jobs in areas previously reserved for men (Rosenberg). With the battle of women in the workforce during the World War II The unite States was able-bodied to win the War, but at first not everyone was supportive of women joining the workforce and the media had to get involved creating propagandas targeting women to manufacture part of the workforce helping our nation gain advantage over Hitler and Japan. Trying to hold the home front in concert while there was a war waging abroad was not an easy task. Women were not only asked to complete the daily chores that were usually expect of them, but they were asked to go to work.
