The movie is set in Los Angeles it follows octonary main characters from all liberty chits of life and races whose lives intersect at whatsoever point during bingle 24 hour period. These people be all different and all alienated, to the point of breaking, so very much so that when they come together things explode. For example, when Terrance Howard and savorless Dillon had their conflict. Terrance Howards character thinks he has to shut up and exactly allow people walk over him so he can get on with his life and not have any problems. He doesnt requisite to cause any ripples in the calm waters of his life. He is too afraid to stock-still speak up when Matt Dillon character pretends to search his wife while actually pinch up her skirt. He would rather stand there and let his wife be publicly humiliated than do something. in all of this bottled up frustration causes him to erupt at quite an un bidly time that puts his life in real jeopardy. The tension explodes at heart the movie. The cops are out of control. They have the power to stop and search, even kill and fabricate evidence. There are no guarantees, no defense against mistaken identity, no safety in the streets, its rediculous!
