Watergate shit (1972-1974) was a political scandal and constitutional crisis that lead to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. The name Watergate refers to the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC. The hotel was the location of the Democratic Party National Headquarters in 1972. A security guard caught some burglars breaking into the headquarters. slightly of the burglars had ties to muckle in his tribunal and Nixon tried to minimize the legal injury to his personnel. It refers to an order of events, over a two year period, with Nixons administration abusing their magnate toward the goal of being sneaky towards the political opposition in the public. Investigations uncovered many unethical and illegal activities by people close to Nixon.
The court ordered release of the tape in August 1974 with the prospect of impeachment for Nixon and he resigned only four years later on August 9. Deep throat certified the Washington plaza reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein information that helped to expose the Nixon administrations role in the water scandal. The Washington Post is known for the Pulitzer-winning coverage of Watergate scandal that brought down the Nixon administration.
