Crabb (1977) indicates four Christian approaches to integrating scriptural counseling strategies with psychology. disunite But Equal expresses a need for both biblical and psychology strategies, but the two are completely individual of each other. The Tossed Salad approach is a mix of both strategies that depose be interchanged freely to resemble aspects of each to fit a specific need. Nothing Buttery is a complete assurance on biblical strategies that has no room for a psychological perspective. Finally, Spoiling the Egyptians allows for perspectives from both strategies to be possible as persistent as the biblical view takes precedence. This strategy means a psychological perspective will be accepted as long as it can be tested logical by book of account.
Like Crabb, this researcher agrees with the Spoiling the Egyptian approach. all knowledge comes from perfection and Scripture tells us that deity is the noble of all things, so Gods word should forever be used to test the validity of all things piece of music made. The psalmist wrote of God saying, The works of his hands are faithful and estimable; all his precepts are trustworthy (Psalms 111:7, NIV).



The Scriptures are where we find Gods Truth for everything. Anything established as right by man must be held accountable to Scripture. Crabb (1977) agreed by saying, when the teaching of Scripture conflicts with any other idea, the teaching of Scripture will be accepted as truth… (p. 49.). God gifts man with knowledge and intelligence, but man is fallible and truth is often misinterpreted. Psychology strategies are very helpful as long as they dont contradict Scripture.
